Number Crossword isn't just one puzzle — it's three grid sizes, three speed settings, and 27 medals waiting to be found.

The level you pick sets the grid size: Level 1 is a 5x5 grid, Level 2 steps up to 9x9, and Level 3 is the full 9x13 challenge, where far more equations have to check out at once.

Separately, the difficulty sets the time pressure. Easy removes the clock entirely — solve at your own pace. Medium adds a moderate time challenge. Hard turns it into a genuine race.

Clearing puzzles also builds toward DigitGrid's medal system: 27 medals in total, 9 for each difficulty tier. Every solve adds to a running points total too, so there's always a number to beat.

Two tips to level up faster:

•   Start on Level 1 before jumping to the 9x13 grid — the smaller board builds the deduction habits you'll need once the equations multiply.

•   Look for the row or column with the fewest empty slots left, and solve that one first. It narrows down what's possible everywhere else on the grid.
